I’m delighted to be back in Brussel (next April 18th, 2013) after almost ten years (the first time was in 2004 as part of the Brussels Jazz Vocal Competition at the Music Village). This time the concert will be at the Sounds Jazz Club in Ixelles, where you’ll be impressed with the atmosphere and warmth of the club.
The evening will include excerpts from the projects “Sounds and Soundtracks” with compositions by the masters of Italian film scores such as Ennio Morricone and Nicola Piovani. “Songs for Ernesto” as a tribute to the deeply romantic work of legendary Neapolitan folk singer Roberto Murolo and his father, the poet Ernesto Murolo. ”Mambo Italiano” and the unexpected influence of Italian Music in Latin America, along with Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn and some original tunes.
- Emiliano Loconsolo: vocals
- Sabin Todorov: piano
- Nicola lancerotti: double bass
- Mimi Verderame: drums/guitar
