What a night at the Stazione Leopolda on June 1st 2026 for CantinaJazz at the first-ever Pisa Wine Week. Returning from Berlin to lead this quintet through the Terre di Pisa DOC — Bianco, Vermentino, Rosato, Rosso and Sangiovese — was pure joy, and the room met us every step of the way.
Huge thanks to the band — Moraldo Marcheschi (sax), Riccardo Galardini (guitar), Nino Pellegrini (double bass) and Marco Simoncini (drums) — and to our special guest, poet Michele Cristiano Aulicino, back in Pisa weaving jazz, poetry and wine together once more.
